Well last week I was priviliged to be invited with the wife to a Lunch reception at Highgrove with Prince Charles. It was many years ago than I care to remember when I was part of his team when "Charles" learnt to fly a helicopter but he (or his minions) don't forget & off we went on an unexpected trip to the UK. Guess what? The weather was very good , the beer was good & I got to meet a lot of old pals I hadn't seen for years. So I'm sure you can imagine the beer was flowing as we recollected all the good times we had had. ( funny you never remember the bad times as much)- is that why Mothers always go back for another birth?
I digress from the visit to Highgrove as we were met on arrival with a nice cup of tea in proper cups & not a "Timmy's" paper one then viewed some of Charles paintings in the reception room, it was very evident how much he loved his Grandma. Then we split up into groups for a guided tour around His gardens all 15 acres of them and unbelievably they were only field when Charles bought Highgrove in 1980. Then after the tour it was basck for some serious beer drinking & a buffet lunch. Charles mingled around during this period & spent 5 to 10 mins with each group chatting away- also funny enough about the good old times. I did invite him over here for tea on his supposed visit but he quickly responded that he wouldn't be able to come if we have an election.
The wife thought he was charming & not as bad looking as pictures she has seen, is that why I never look so good in pictures? maybe the camera does lie. I will post some pics when I get them, one downside was no cameras were allowed only those taken by the official photographer.

Well heres hoping that the swine flu just passed you by without any affect on your life but as with all news items following just behind is a scam.
